Wow...it has been a while since I have even thought about this page. None-the-less, summer is over and the new semester is starting. Every time this happens I find a new found love for mathematics. Why you may ask? Well, the answer is because I become more immersed in the mathematical community and as a teacher I have another opportunity to show the beauties of the subject to a fresh group of students (some of which I have seen before). This semester I hope to impart more than an abstract notion of manipulating equations, but a full understanding of how Mathematics can influence and better the culture around us. More on this later.
